What’s in a name? For Couldn’t Be Happiers, the whole damn thing. This riot-folk/Americana duo out of Winston-Salem, NC enjoys every minute of their music-making journey, and it is contagious.
Priding themselves on unique points of view and unexpected protagonists, their songs narrate fantastical worlds, untold histories, and vanishing folklore. But buried in each verse and chorus is their own underlying tale of two lawyers who, after failed marriages, found each other and are celebrating their second chance at music, love, and happiness.

It feels like the duo captured magic in every note they shared with us... The harmonies and storytelling of Couldn’t Be Happiers are so captivating, that it’s impossible to listen without feeling deeply connected.
A stunning exploration of love, activism, and storytelling, all stitched together by Couldn’t Be Happiers’ poetic synergy... an artful, heartfelt collection that demands both a listen and a spot on your playlist.
Couldn’t Be Happiers make music that is witty and entertaining even as the lyrics weave in serious topics to consider.
Lee’s up-tempo ‘Cajun Spider-Man’ tune [is] reminiscent of the storytelling song genre the great Tom T. Hall and Roger Miller, among others, made famous...Hildebran’s ‘Mad’ is unique in its delivery allowing the depth of her vocals to shine with a Rhiannon Giddeons’ quality I haven’t heard from Hildebran until now. ‘Mad’ sounds like it should be listened to in a dim speakeasy lit only by candlelight while sipping on a Manhattan.
